What's your opinion???
I have branched out and put my name literslly everywhere. Etsy, my own website, a blog, google+, facebook, twitter, linkedin, and now Ravelry.
Ravelry was a pain in my crochet hook. I understand they are only run by about 6 people, but I really think they need to invest in more employees. It takes approx. 3 weeks to get an e-mail back from them, which I personally find completely ridiculous. And don't even try to use the chat help. The "volunteer" who runs was completely rude to me and refused to answer my question. However if you go complain in the forums everything gets fixed in about 5 minutes. I get alot of traffic from ravelry so I do suggest anyone who makes patterns to put them on Ravelry, just remember it's a pain in your crochet hook and they will most likely be rude.
Know as I look through Ravelry I see so many patterns for free. Good patterns too! I mean patterns I would pay for. Do people even buy patterns anymore?? I love making patterns and will continue to make them but I almost feel as if it's a lost cause.
On another note is the baby bonnet fad over? Or am I just not getting the right customers in my shops? I get so many views and favorites everywhere but only a couple of sales.
Just curious as to what everyone thinks. What would you like to see in my shop?? What would you want to buy?? Handspun yarn/hand painted roving?? Finished products?? Patterns??I'd like to get everyone's opinions so I can better suit everyone's wants and needs.

Back off snow I'm not ready for winter yet!
Well it's snowing here. I'm not too excited. I'm not a winter person. It's cold, wet and slippery. Yuck. I do have to admit winter is beautiful though.
Since it's snowing I'm in the Christmas crochet mood. I'm making cute little santa and elf hat headbands. <3 them.

Movember Mustache Mania
It is Movember! No that's not a typo it's Movember.
Movember is when men around the world grow their mustaches in support of mens health. Things such as testicular cancer, prostate cancer, and mental health. I have decided since I can't grow a mustache to help support and raise money for this great cause that I would make my mustache!
And now I want your help! In this post I will be putting a pattern for you to make your own mustache, but it's not completely free. I have a few requirements.
I want you to take this pattern and make mustaches all month long! If you can I would like you to sell them and donate your profits from it to charity. I will be pumping out mustaches this week and making them available in my shops as well. Here's a link to where you can donate:

I also want you to spread the word!! Share this with everyone so the can help us raise money and awareness! Take pictures of your mustaches. Maybe your mustache found it's way onto your dog, or your mustache visited a national monument, again let's have fun and spread the word!! You can post your pictures on my facebook page

Learning Broomstick Lace
Finally after a whole day of trying I learned the broomstick lace. It's actually quite easy ( I was counting wrong lol) just slightly time consuming. Fresh brewed formula
You know your an overtired mom when you go to brew a cup of coffee and almost refill your k-cup with formula. Hahaha Nice job mom! Makes for a long morning.
After making a real cup of coffee I have been on the go, go, go! Housework done, Ellie is fed and napping and I was able to get TWO patterns done!! I'm typing the patterns up now so I can put them in the shop. Here's a sneak peek of what you can look forward to!!
The first is made with my new favorite stitch pattern! Super easy and I love how it looks!! <3
This next one is a slightly harder but still pretty easy stitch pattern. I recommend a practice run with some extra stash yarn laying around. If you'rre anything like me you have plenty. lol. Once you try it you'll see it's pretty easy. And I used some 2ply ooak handspun yarn from ilashdesigns. <3

Funtimes with my model
Today I'm trying to get my 5 month old to cooperate and model my new booties pattern. Easier said then done hahaha. Although she wasn't that bad today. However she doesn't sit on her own for too long so it took probably an hour to get a couple good pictures lol And on top of that my memory card wasn't fully in so my really good shots are on the camera itself and I don't have the cord to plug it into my laptop :(. We are gonna have to try again when she wakes up from her nap. Here's a little sneak peek though!!

Welcome to my blog!
Hello world!! Welcome to my blog! Here's a quick few things about me:
1. I am a new mother. My daughter Eleanor is 5 months old. I imagine you'll here and see alot about her lol.
2. I'm not a blogger. lol Writing about myself and what I'm doing is not my strong suit but I'm trying!
3. I'm an avid crocheter! I love crocheting and everything about it. As you'll find out lol
4.I am new to owning a business so bare with me. I have worked with a lady who owns her own business but never had my own. By the way she owns ilashdesigns.com go check her out her fibers are amazing!!
My favorite things to crochet are newborn bonnets! They are quick, fun, and just plain adorable. However my daughter never fit in any of them as she was born 10 pounds 11oz lol After years of people telling me to sell the things I make or patterns I create I am now chosing to open a shop for all my stuff. Everything in my shop is made by me. I do not steal other people patterns and am hoping everyone will be curteous of mine.
So now is the part where I promote myself!!! This is everywhere you can find me!
